What is a "Parson"?

Christmas season is here...

"In a meadow we can build a snowman...
We'll pretend that he is Parson Brown..."

It's interesting to note that these are the original words to the song, but the politically correct bigots have changed the last line to:

"We'll pretend that he's a circus clown..."

In old-time cowboy days a Parson was a preacher, and he traveled from town to town. That's why the lyrics continue with:

"He'll say 'Are you married? We'll say no, man. But you can do the job while you're in town.'"

Heaven's, the politcally correct bigots don't want to connect Christmas with religion and offend anyone!
